Meredith is a friend from my college days; she was a few years older but we were in Women's Choir together and I especially treasured the conversations we had on the long bus rides from state to state during Spring Tour. She has been working in Kosovo for the last several years and apparantly she came to Germany for a few days with a friend to get a car. As I sat in chapel this morning I felt a tap on my shoulder. When I turned around, Meredith was beaming down at me and I stared at her, completely perplexed. It took me a good five seconds to realize who she was, but then suddenly I recognized her and jumped up to give her a huge hug. This makes two unexpected visitors in one week! (
