new project: show & tell
Lately words have been escaping me. At night when I'm trying to sleep I feel like there's something for me to say, but the words are just out of reach. After a night of dreaming I sigh and wish I could write down every wonderful dream I had, but before I locate a pen it vanishes like a morning fog.
Maybe I'm just trying too hard.
So I'm taking a different approach. Since I seem to be struggling with articulating my thoughts these days, I will change course and use strictly photography. Each day I will post a picture that will represent the day - somewhere I've gone, someone I've been with, something I've done. It may be serious or funny, artistic or candid. Hopefully, I can express my thoughts by showing rather than telling.
Since I'm a teacher, I'm calling this project show & tell.
Also, since this post comes nearly an hour after midnight, I've already missed my first day of posting. Had I come up with this idea earlier today, here's the first picture I would have posted.
