#151: oh, phil

One of the perks of teaching middle school is that you get to have fun visits from former students when they are in high school. Meet Phil  - he was in my first eighth grade class at BFA. His family returned to the States last year and his Christmas present was a visit to Germany this summer. We enjoyed a nice long chat this morning, sharing stories from the year - me learning about high school in the States and he hearing about my adventures of driving in Lugano. We reminisced about last year, like that time I ripped a hole in my pants during homeroom and had to staple them shut. Oh, and we may have gotten into some mischief, too. But that's top secret stuff...
